This two-day Master-class will address the practicalities of collecting, managing and analysing data from Face to Face and Focus Group interviews.
The target audience for this course are researchers, practitioners and academics who want to conduct qualitative studies, and are familiar with the basic qualitative research principles.
A completion certificate will be issued to each participant.

This course
is a practical course. It will enable participants to understand the preparatory requirements for qualitative interviewing (both individual and group). It will help in becoming proficient in qualitative question design. Experience in both types of qualitative interviewing will be provided as well as practise in undertaking analyses of these types of data.
Course Format
This course involves a mixture of:
- seminar presentations using powerpoint
- class discussions; and
- small group activities.

- Participants will be expected to have basic knowledge about qualitative research.
- QUAL 101 & QUAL 102 courses or equivalent knowledge.
